Famitsu publishes first review of Dragon Ball Xenoverse

Dragon Ball Xenoverse

Famitsu magazines recent review of Dragon Ball Xenoverse has revealed some interesting new information about the upcoming game. ShonenGamez has uploaded a scan of the review from the magazine and translated it to English. Overall the game has received positive reviews with a score of 30/40 from four reviewers. Their individual scores for the game were 7,8, 8.0, and 7.0.

One of the most important things noted in the review was the games story length, which is a decent 15 hours long. However, there is 100 hours worth of gameplay, if you want to grab all the customization features the game has to offer. So there is a respectable amount of time that players will be spending on the game.

The game does come with flaws though, one of which was lag issues that reviewers faced while playing the games 3 on 3 mode. Besides this, they also noted that Xenoverse’s missions tend to get repetitive the further you progress in the game.

Besides these minor flaws, the game was noted as being enjoyable with amazing graphics, and customizations that will appease fans of the series. Gamers who adore fast action fighting games will enjoy playing this title.

Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball Xenoverse is slated to release on February 5th in Japan for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC. The game received a minor delay and will be releasing by February 24th in North America, and February 27th in Europe. Dragon Ball Xenoverse is set many years after the Majin Buu saga and will feature brand new characters as well as some older favourites.
