However, in the promotional video, which featured some of the top players in the world, some other details were also revealed, such as player ratings for some other stars as well.

Towards the end of the video, 16 player cards such as Angel Di Maria, Mats Hummels, Lucas Moura, Adrien Rabiot, etc were also revealed, which show that so far, there are two players who have 90+ ratings.

They are Bayern Munich stars Robert Lewandowski and Manuel Neuer, who have a rating of 91 and 92 respectively, which makes them the first two players to cross the 90-point barrier.

The player ratings are released by EA Sports normally a month in advance as they build up to the final launch of the game.

The 20 players ranked from 100 to 81 in descending order are - Bernardo Silva, Sami Khedira, Sadio Mane, Dani Alves, Marco Asensio, Falcao, Mauro Icardi, Dele Alli, Bernd Leno, Claudio Marchisio, Stephane Ruffier, Ilkay Gundogan, Danijel Subasic, Raphael Varane, Kamil Glik, Andrea Barzagli, Vincent Kompany, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Yannick Carrasco and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

It is a one-point increase for the Polish striker, who sees his rating jump from 90 in FIFA 17 to 91 in the latest edition. His stats make for some impressive viewing - 81 pace, 88 shooting, 75 passing, 86 dribbling, 38 defending and 82 physical.

For the German keeper and 2014 World Cup winner, there is no change in the overall rating from the previous edition, which stays at 92. He too, boasts of some extraordinary numbers, with 91 diving, 90 handling, 95 kicking, 89 reflexes, 59 speed and 91 positioning.
