FIFA 18: Top 5 Manchester City players

Two of the City's top players are included in the Premier League top three rated stars!

FIFA 18 release date is just around the corner, so it would be fitting to look into the player ratings of one of the best sides in the Premier League. Manchester City, as has been the case in the past decade, spent a huge fortune this summer to make sure their team looks nothing short of invincible.

So, here is the list of the Sky Blues' top 5 FIFA 18 players:

5) Kyle Walker, Nicolas Otamendi and Yaya Toure (83)

Thumbs up to their defence!

The new signing Kyle Walker features in the list with veteran Yaya Toure and Nicolas Otamendi. Walker has seen an upgrade of two rating points from 81 to 83 whereas Toure and Otamendi have seen their ratings being downgraded by 1 and 2 points respectively. Otamendi's ratings have taken a hit due to the heavy criticism he received for his defensive decision-making.

4) Bernardo Silva (84)

This card looks powerful!

Man City's £43m man has made it to the list ahead of the likes of Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane. He had an 81-rated FIFA 17 card which was upgraded by 1 point in the winter upgrade. And now his card has received a good 2-point upgrade after a phenomenal 2016-17 season with Monaco. We hope he can produce the same magic for Manchester City.

3) Ilkay Gundogan and Vincent Company (85)

Two of the best!

Even though Gundogan missed the majority of last season due to injury, he has still been able to retain his high rating and will be one of the best players in the City team. Elsewhere, captain Vincent Kompany takes the crown as the side's highest-rated defender with an overall of 85. Both these players have become injury prone in real life but they are quite good in FIFA.

2) David Silva (87)

The better Silva!

David Silva remains one of the most exciting attackers in the game with an overall of 87. His high attacking work rate would balance out the dismal pace he has been given by FIFA. Though we hope his shooting ability could have been much higher, But still it does not take away his immense attacking power.

1) Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne (89)

A dreadful pair for the opponents!

Aguero and De Bruyne have continued their magical partnership even on the FIFA platform. Kevin de Bruyne has seen an increase of one overall to go level with Sergio Aguero at 89 as City's best player. The Argentinian striker retains the same rating for the second season running meaning that only Chelsea's Eden Hazard has better in-game stats than the two City stars.
