Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for PS4 coming on May 2015

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for PS4 arrives this May.

Japanese game developer Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be officially launched on PS4 in May 12, 2015. The game’s European and Australian/NZ launch date is yet to be announced but the release date should come around the same week. The North American version will include system-exclusive features and an exclusive calender showcasing famous artwork by Japanese artist and charachter designer Yoshitaka Amano. The calender will be available as a special pre-order bonus at participating retailers and the Square Enix Online Store.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for PS4 brings together Final Fantasy X and Final Fatasy X-2, including Final Fantasy X: Eternal Calm and Final Fantasy X-2: Late Mission (originally exclusive to Japan only). Revealed last December, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster features cross-save functionality (where players can transfer their save and continue their progress across the PS4, PS3, and PSVita versions) and the ability to switch between the original and the remastered soundtrack.

Final Fantasy X was released on PS2 in 2001 followed by Final Fantasy X-2 in 2003.
