GTA V Online Heist update is finally available for download

The update is now live for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One

The highly anticipated GTA V Online Heist update is now up for download. The Heist mode is now available in GTA V’s online multiplayer mode across all platforms. It will also be available for the PC version of the game which is slated to release on April 14th. Developers Rockstar games had teased about the feature shortly after the release of the original GTA V in 2013.

The Online Heists is described as a “massive, multi-layered, 4-player co-operative missions” that allows players to team-up and take on elaborate robberies across Los Santos, much like the main Grand Theft Auto V campaign mode. Each Heist will have one leader, and to qualify as one, a player will need to possess a Rank 12, as well as a high-end apartment. Heist Leaders will then have to coordinate the robbery, provide set-up costs, and assign roles to each crew member.

The update will include a total of five heists as well as a host of challenges for players to try out. There is even an “introductory” Heist that can be taken on by two players instead of four. One of the toughest challenges added with the update rewards players with a huge $10 million pay off, but only if they complete all of the Heists in order, on hard difficulty, without losing a single member. Players can now rake up a game score of 250 by obtaining every trophy/achievement added with the Heist update. You can check out the full list of trophies/achievements here.
