Japanese gamer uploads final boss fight footage for Tekken 7

Kazuya Mishima will be the final boss in Tekken 7

With Tekken 7 arcade cabinets releasing a few days ago in Japan, many Japanese gamers have now had the chance to play the game. A few have even managed to defeat the final boss, Kazumi. The last boss for Tekken 7 is none other than Kazuya’s mother. Players will have two rounds to defeat the boss, and by the looks of it, she doesn’t seem easy.

According to a few recently uploaded videos of the game, the arcade mode seems to have only eight stages. The player managed to get up to seven wins before facing off against the final boss. So this means that the Kazumi boss fight will be the eighth and final stage.

Kazumi is part Demon, so it’s no surprise that the final stage is full of lava resembling Hell. This seems like the same location which was featured in one the games trailers (with Heihachi and Kazuya).

The gamer featured in the video footage played as Steve Fox, a Boxer from UK. The matches were against the CPU on the easy difficulty setting, and even then, the player was nearly beaten by the final boss.

Kazumi has two forms in the game, her regular human self and a demon. The player had to face off against the human Kazumi in the first round, which did not seem that tough. This changed during the second round after Kazumi transformed into her Demon form. Players will have to be vary of her special Tiger summons, which deals some powerful damage. Kazumi is definitely not an easy character to beat in her demon form.

The disappointing aspect of the game is the ending, which is devoid of any cut scene. Once defeated, Kazumi simply falls to the ground and the credits roll. Hopefully this will be different with the console version of the game.

Tekken 7 is slated to release on March 18th, worldwide. Players can still try out the arcade cabinets at a few events worldwide. In the meantime, you can check out the footage for the final boss fight below:
