NetherRealms Studios reveals new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat X featuring Kitana and Kung Lao

Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealms Studio have released a new gameplay video for the upcoming Mortal Kombat X. The footage features fighters Kitana and Kung Lao settling a disagreement in true Mortal Kombat fashion, through brutal and bloody combat.

So while Kung Lao uses his razor sharp hat to slice his enemies to pieces, Kitana gracefully chops her enemies body parts off with her fan blades.

It is definitely not a pretty sight but this gruesome gory violence and finishing your enemies using ‘fatalities’ is exactly what made Mortal Kombat the classic it is now.

Mortal Kombat X is slated to release on April 14th for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. Players can also gain access to four-armed fighter Goro by pre-ordering the game on GAME UK.
