Visceral Games introduces weapon changes for final version of Battlefield Hardline

Battlefield Hardline will be releasing on March 17th

The Battlefield Hardline beta ended just a few weeks ago and was extremely successful, drawing in about seven million players in its final days. This has provided developers Visceral Games with enough valuable feedback on the changes required in the game. It seems that the development team have listened and will be implementing a few of these changes. However, according to Lead Multiplayer Designer Thad Sasser, there won’t be any “sweeping changes in balance or design.”

These changes will be related to balancing and tweaking certain in game weapons. Many beta players had complained that a few assault rifles were overpowered, though they seemed to be okay with most of the games firearms. To correct this, the development team will be increasing the recoil on these overpowered guns. They have also mentioned that the games starter weapons will be receiving attention, though this statement seems a big vague. The development team have promised a more “user friendly” experience for newcomers when it comes to starter weapons.

Visceral Games are yet to reveal the other changes made to the final version of the game, though they probably might in the coming weeks. Players who are eager to know more about the upcoming game can check out the developer’s diary video below:
