The Premier League, said by many to be the best league in the world. I love it. You love it. We all love it. Some of the best players in the world play in England. But some of the best players don’t.

There’s a number of players I’d love to see over here. Too many to say, but here’s my top 10 which I hope you’ll enjoy.

10. Juninho Pernambucano -

Age: 37
Club: Vasco da Gama
Position: CM/AM

A weird one to start with is Juninho, the dead ball specialist. He scored 100 goals for Lyon, 44 being free-kicks. His technique has been copied and adapted by a few players: Ronaldo & Drogba to name a couple. After his spell in France he moved to Qatari club Al-Gharafa, where he was made captain and led them to their 7th league title.

Now back in Brazil with Vasco, it’s likely that he’ll retire there, but I would just love to see him score a free-kick in the Premiership.

9. Eden Hazard -

Age: 21
Club: Lille OSC
Position: AM/FW

I’m not his biggest fan to be fair. He has talent but he’s just as disrespectful as he is talented. Flirting with other clubs in every other interview for me is wrong. He should show more respect to Lille. It looked like he was going to join a world-class team like Real Madrid, but may end up at, wait for it…Tottenham. Yes, you read it- Tottenham. They’re welcome to him. I want him in the Premier League just so see how he does.

With all due respect, the French league isn’t the best in the world and if he does come to England and do well, then fair enough I’ll admit I’m wrong. But I’m not really in favour of Arsenal taking that risk for that price.

Interesting to see what happens in the summer.

8. Lucas Moura -

Age: 19
Club: São Paulo
Position: AM

From the same youth team as Kaká, he has the potential to do the same as his fellow Brazilian and more. Moura is a young creative midfielder, similar to Jack Wilshere but just more skillful. He’s already played a number of games for his country and is a regular for his club team. He’ll probably end up at a top team very soon.

Probably not the Premiership [sad face], but he’ll become a bigger star than he already is wherever he goes. A top, top talent.

7. Javi Martínez -

Age: 23
Club: Athletic Bilbao
Position: DM/CM

A player who came to everyone’s attention in the two Europa League games against United, but I’ve known him for a bit longer than that. As have a lot of people. He’s interested many teams and I think he’ll be a very important player for most teams in the world. His price tag is pretty high. Not quite sure how high it is, but I think it’s around £30m. He’ll be worth it for any team who pays it.

I’d love him in the EPL just so I can watch him every week, even if it is at a club I can’t stand. Martinez is a decent tackler, excellent passer, and an absolutely brilliant player.

6. Mario Götze -

Age: 19
Club: Borussia Dortmund
Position: AM

Everyone knows him. The most wanted man in Europe. He’s been linked with the majority of top teams around the world, and Liverpool. He’s a youngster who has taken the world by storm and is one of the main reasons for Dortmund’s success. He’s impressed every time I’ve seen him, who can dribble like Messi and pass like Xavi.

Gotze’s a top player who’ll go on to great things if he picks the right club or even if he stays at Dortmund. Not quite sure where he’ll end up, but there’s no doubt he’ll have many clubs to choose from.

5. Edinson Cavani -

Age: 25
Club: Napoli
Position: Striker

In my opinion, only Van Persie is a better striker than him. His movement is incredible, he moves defenders without them knowing he’s moving them. He brings people into the game, creates space, and scores goals. He would be a fantastic signing for any team in the world.

I would love to see him play in England, but only at Arsenal or United. Arsenal because I’m a fan and United because they do things properly, which is something I hate to admit. I’d hate to see him at a club who just spends money for fun. i.e. City and Chelsea

‘El Matador’ will cost a lot of money, which is why he’ll probably never be seen at a club other than those who splash the cash but I believe he’d walk into any team in the world.

4. Neymar -

Age: 20
Club: Santos
Position: FW

Along with Mario Götze he is probably one of the most exciting prospects in the world. Quick, skillful, dynamic and has one hell of a hairstyle. I first heard of him when I was playing Fifa 11 with Santos and first saw him play for Brazil in a friendly match against Scotland at The Emirates. Quite a few people have said he wouldn’t make it at a big team in a better league, but I think he would.

He has all the attributes and will only improve playing against and with better players. Doubt he’ll ever play in the EPL, but it would be great to see. He’s a real top class player.

3. Lionel Messi -

Age: 24
Club: Barcelona
Position: FW

Not much I can say about him that hasn’t been said. We all know his attributes. His strengths and his weaknesses [is there even any?]. Showed in many a big game why he’s mentioned as being the best player in the world and potentially the greatest ever.

The reason I’d love to see him in the Premiership is so I can see so how he does. Is he a one league man? Maybe we’ll never know, but it would be interesting to see.

2. Ganso -

Age: 22
Club: Santos
Position: CM/AM

A very well known player within the fans of foreign football, especially those who tune in to the Brazilian league. A midfielder who, like Neymar, was first seen by me on Fifa 11, and is very similar to Kaká.

Technically superb and creative, he’s a very important player for Santos and not far off being as important for Brazil and is considered one of the biggest prospects from his nation.

He has had a few injuries in the past so maybe the Premier League is a bit too physical, but even so, I’d love to see him strut his stuff in England preferably in the red & white of The Arsenal. Ganso’s one to definitely look out for.

1. Ronaldinho -

Age: 31
Club: Flamengo
Position: MF/FW

My second all time favourite player, behind King Thierry. In his prime, he was phenomenal. He’s currently playing for Flamengo in Brazil and still shows signs of his incredible ability. The reason he’s number one is ‘cos I’d just love to see him play week in week out.

The first player, along with Henry, who made me realise what football was about: entertainment. Every game, there’d be a different skill he’d use to embarrass the defenders.

A real classy player who just loves to play and the main reason I love Brazilian football. An absolute legend.

Whether it’s because they’re a legend, talented or I’m just intrigued as to how they’ll get on, these are the players I’d love to see in the Premier League. And as you can tell, I’m a big fan of Brazil and its stars.
