Maverick McNealy won the 2024 RSM Classic at 16-under. McNealy took home his first PGA Tour victory and the lion's share of the $7,600,000 purse at Sea Island Golf Course.

Maverick McNealy had to work hard at the end of the fourth round to regain the lead he had lost. He finally birdied the 18th to win the RSM Classic.

The opposite happened to star amateur Luke Clanton, who was leading the RSM Classic but bogeyed the 18th to drop to second. Clanton was on the verge of winning on the PGA Tour in the same season that Nick Dunlap won the American Express as an amateur. Not since 1945 has more than one amateur won in the same season on the PGA Tour.

By winning the RSM Classic, McNealy has secured his PGA Tour card through the end of the 2026 season. He has also earned a spot in The Sentry field in January and an invitation to the Masters Tournament in April.
