Deers decided to make an appearance at the ongoing LIV Golf event at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia.
The third and final round of the tournament was moved up to avoid the cold and wet weather interrupting the game. However, the disruption came later, in the form of deer, which sent the field into a frenzy by running onto the golf course.

LIV Golf shared a video on their official handle on X, which featured the short interruption on the final day. The post was captioned:
"Oh deer🦌"
Though the disruption was short-lived, it did not stop fans from sharing their reactions online. Here are some hilarious fans' comments under the above post on X.
"more deer there than spectators," a fan reacted.
"Can’t believe how inconsiderate that deer was of the green," said another.
"Luckily there’s only 2 people standing around that could have been bad," one user wrote.
A few of them expressed their 'concern' humorously as they commented:
"No running on the greens please," remarked a fan.
"Some divots to repair!" another fan commented.
"Stop! Fix those pitch/hoof marks!," a person called out.
"Rip those divots," one user pointed out.
The Virginia event headed into round three today with Anirban Lahiri as the leader of the individual game with a total 13-under par score. While he carded a 4-under 67 on the first day, Lahiri shot an impressive seven-under 64 in round two.
The leaderboard displays strong competition for the title as Graeme McDowell, Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson, and Bryson DeChambeau, among others, are in contention.
Meanwhile, on the team scoreboard, Crushers GC had an unbeaten lead, followed by Smash GC and 4Aces GC, ahead of round three.
Has Anirban Lahiri won an event on the LIV Golf League before?
The Indian golfer played on several tours, including the European and the PGA Tour, before he joined the LIV Golf league in 2022. Lahiri is a part of the Crushers GC team and plays under the captaincy of Bryson DeChambeau.
While the 37-year-old golfer has won 12 professional events so far in his career, he is yet to claim a title on the Saudi-backed PIF league. His best finish in LIV Golf is the runner-up position, which he has claimed several times. Twice in 2023- in Adelaide and Bedminster events, and once last year in Andalucia.

Lahiri has had mixed outcomes this season, with his best result being a T7 finish in Adelaide in February. In the last LIV event in Korea, he ended up in a tie for 45th place. However, his team, Crushers GC, won the Incheon event, their first title of the season.
