2023 LPGA Drive On Championship: Full field and rankings explored

The LPGA is back. After a short break, the LPGA returns this week for the 2023 Drive On Championship. The event is set to be played from March 23 to March 26 at the Superstition Mountain Golf Club in Gold Canyon, Arizona.

Being played in its originally intended slot, the Drive On Championship will mark the first US event after the circuit’s winter Asian swing. Ahead of the event, the LPGA released the 142-player field and it is headlined by some of the top names in the sport. The event, marking the first full-field event of the season, features the likes of Lexi Thompson, Nelly Korda, and Brooke Henderson, among others.

The event features 37 of the top 50 in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings. It is pertinent to note that the Drive On Championship has a prize purse of $1.75 million. The 142 golfers, selected based on the LPGA's priority order, will compete against each other for the top prize and valuable points on offer.
