2023 Players Championship: Day 1 tee times and TV schedule

The PGA Tour is back with the Players Championship this week. The American circuit’s flagship event will tee off on Thursday, March 9 and will conclude on the 12th. Ahead of the event, the event organizers unveiled the tournament's featured group, including the world's top three golfers in the same group.

Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, and Rory McIlroy will all tee off on Thursday at the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. Stacked with some of the world’s best players, the 2023 Players Championship field has eight past champions and six FedEx Cup winners between them.

Players Championship defending champion Cameron Smith won’t be attending due to his affiliation with LIV Golf.

Robby Shelton, Austin Smotherman and Min Woo Lee will tee off at the Players Championship at 6:50 am. Other big names will follow them. It goes without saying that the groups of Max Homa, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth along with Rahm, Scheffler and McIlroy will be the most sought-after bunch to watch.
