2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic Round 3 tee times and pairing explored

Day 2 of the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic ended with Akshay Bhatia and Aaron Rai in the lead. Bhatia shot a 5-under 67 to maintain his lead, while Rai shot 65 to match the American golfer at 13-under 131 at the Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan.

Round 3 of the Rocket Mortgage Classic will begin at 10:48 am ET on Saturday, June 29, with Ben Silverman and Vince Whaley taking the first tee. The pairing of David Skinns, Jacob Bridgeman, and Luke Clanton will follow suit at 10:59 am, while Bud Cauley, Davis Thompson, and Ben Kohles will follow them at 11:10 am.

Notably, leaders Bhatia and Rai will enjoy the late tee-off on Saturday at 1:00 pm. T3 Taylor Montgomery will join them. The group will follow the pairing of Troy Merritt, Erik van Rooyen, and Cameron Young, teeing off at 12:49 pm.

T7 Eric Cole, Cam Davis, and Joel Dahmen will continue their Rocket Mortgage Classic outing together at 12:38 pm. They will follow the pairing of Jake Knapp, Wesley Bryan, and Sam Stevens teeing up at 12:27 pm.

It is pertinent to note that the Rocket Mortgage Classic underwent the 36-hole cut on Friday, June 28. The event’s 156-player field was limited to the top 60 and ties. PGA Tour big names like Keith Mitchell, Robert MacIntyre, Daniel Berger and Webb Simpson failed to make the cut.

Fifteen-year-old circuit debutant Miles Russell also fell short. Notably, event favorite Tom Kim also missed the Friday cut.
