The 2024 Solheim Cup saw team USA finally claim victory over team Europe with a score of 15.5 to 12.5. The three-day event was one of the most entertaining weekend for fans, and it showed through the high viewership numbers.Charley Hull and Nelly Korda's head-to-head singles match was one of the highlights of the Solheim Cup. Other notable golfers included the likes of Rose Zhang, Anna Nordqvist and Georgia Hall.According to Josh Carpenter, the Solheim Cup saw a viewership of 657,000. This number is more than double of last year and better than the 2021 edition of the event by around 100,000."Solheim Cup viewership from Sunday: 657,000 on NBC. Speaking about her performance, Rose Zhang said via Golf Week:“I just feel like the Solheim Cup reignited my passion for the game and it was so fun to see so many people out here supporting. My teammates have been incredible.”US Team captain Stacy Lewis spoke about taking victory at the Solheim Cup with her teammates. Speaking via the LPGA Tour, she said:“From the moment this team was together, they were together. I'm just so proud of them. You can always look back, but at the same time I don't think we, as a team, have any regrets of what we did.
