2025 Ras Al Khaimah Championship round 1 suspended? Provisional leaderboard and Round 2 tee times explored

The first round of the DP World Tour's 2025 Ras Al Khaimah Championship was played on Thursday 23rd January at Al Hamra Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates. The round was suspended due to darkness and will resume on Friday.

Marcus Armitage carded his best score for several years to take an interesting lead at the top of the leaderboard. Armitage leads the Ras Al Khaimah Championship on nine under par, four shots clear of three players tied for second. Four other players are tied for fifth, including three-time Major winner Padraig Harrington.

Although the first round will have to be resumed on Friday, the tour has announced that tee times for the second round will remain as scheduled. That means the event will begin at 10:10 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday due to the time difference.
