"By no means am I satisfied"- Will Zalatoris ready to fight his way into the top 30 of the FedEx Cup playoffs through the Wyndham Championship

Will Zalatoris is one of many PGA Tour professionals aiming for a top-30 spot in the FedEx Cup playoffs, culminating at East Lake Golf Course on August 29. Ahead of the Tour Championship, Zalatoris recently shared his thoughts on his current situation.

Zalatoris, currently ranked 45th in the FedEx Cup standings, is gearing up for the Wyndham Championship. While acknowledging that he's in a 'nice spot' at the moment, the American golfer expressed dissatisfaction and a clear desire to improve his standing. Here's what the PGA Tour professional said:

"The fact that I am sitting in this position and being able to for sure be in the playoffs and make a run... It's a nice spot to be in, but by no means am I satisfied."

The 2024 season so far hasn't been a great one for Zalatoris. While he's managed two top-5, one top-10, and one top-20 finish in 17 events, the majority of his results have been outside the top 20. Additionally, he's also missed the cut in his last two tournaments.
