Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson are two of the top golfers in LIV Golf. However, they are dissatisfied with their performances on the tour this season. The official Instagram page of LIV Golf recently posted a video in which players rated their season thus far. The post gained a lot of traction due to DeChambeau and Mickelson giving themselves an average grade.
The video starts with Bryson DeChambeau. He has been in good form this year, finishing at least in the top 20 in every tournament he has participated in. He even won the LIV Golf Korea event, which took place at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Course. DeChambeau also had strong finishes in the two PGA Tour events he took part in (the Masters and the PGA Championship).
Despite all of this, the 31-year-old golfer gave himself a 'B+'. While discussing it, Bryson DeChambeau stated that he would only consider himself good if he could give himself an A or higher.
"I mean, I would say a B+ for my performance. Under my expectations. Yeah, it's passing, but it needs to be an A to A+," he mentioned in the video shared by LIV Golf on Instagram.
On the other hand, Phil Mickelson's season has been quite decent. He has had some solid top finishes, but the golfer is still looking for his first win of the season. In terms of the PGA Tour, Mickelson missed the cut in both of the major tournaments he played in. The 54-year-old golfer declared that his season was worth a 'B'.
While talking about this, Phil Mickelson also cited his performances in the previous years.
"So I would give myself a B for the reason that I have not played well in the previous years. And this year I'm 15th in the standings and have had a third and a sixth with an opportunity or two to get in contention and come out on top."
Aside from them, Cameron Smith was present, who graded himself a D.
Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson look forward to the US Open

Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson are currently competing at the 2025 LIV Golf Virginia. The tournament is being held at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia. It is an iconic course, and Mickelson has a rich history with it.
Both golfers would like to perform well in this competition in order to prepare for the US Open, which is slated to begin the following week. This is the PGA Tour's third major of the year, beginning June 12. Interestingly, for both golfers, winning this tournament will be the top priority.
On one hand, Bryson DeChambeau will enter the tournament as the defending champion. As a result, he would like to retain his title. On the other hand, if Phil Mickelson wins the US Open, he will become the seventh player in history to complete a career grand slam.
