PNC Championship: Greg Norman’s son wants to bet 1 bitcoin in golf face off against Tiger Woods & his son Charlie at the PNC Championship

LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman's son, Greg Norman Jr. had recently proposed to play against golf legend Tiger Woods and son Charlie in the upcoming PNC Championship. Now the entrepreneur has offered to bet 1 bitcoin with the amount going to a charity of winner's choice.

Although the PNC Championship is technically not a part of the competitive calendar of the PGA Tour, ever since the inception of LIV Golf in 2022, all defectors have been banned from taking part in the event. Players must have at least one major title to their name to be eligibile to take part in the event.

Norman Jr. recently took to X to reshare the news of his proposal to Woods and Charlie to further raise the stakes. He wrote:

"put up 1 bitcoin each... absolutely everything goes to charity of winners choice."

Tiger Woods and Charlie have been regular participants of the PNC Championship. Although Woods was out of competition for a majority of the year owing to a back surgery, he will be seen in action with his son at the tournament this month.

Despite Greg Norman Jr.'s offer to Tiger Woods and Charlie, the chances of it actually happening at the PNC Championship look bleak.

The event will take place from December 19 to 22, 2024 at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Grande Lakes. Although, this face-off might not happen, the tournament still offers an exciting line-up of PGA Tour and LPGA Tour golfers.
