Scottie Scheffler has been an unstoppable force in the world of golf of late. After picking up three consecutive wins this year, he went on to win the 2024 Masters to cement his place as one of the best golfers of the generation.

Now, as he tees it up at the 2024 RBC Heritage tournament, Jordan Spieth has nothing but praise for the American golfer. Scottie Scheffler and Jordan Spieth have been playing golf together since they were teenagers. Spieth remembers Scheffler beating him at that time, even though the latter was younger.

Reminiscing about the older times, Jordan Spieth told the press ahead of the 2024 RBC Heritage tournament:

"Scottie and I, we go back a long time. I remember playing against him way back. I was probably 12 or 13 years old and he was 9 or 10. He was already a stud and he was beating me back then when he was 9 or 10. He's an incredible talent, I'm excited that he's going to be a long horn."

Scottie Scheffler's win at the 2024 Masters was an utter show of dominance, as he ran away with the lead during the last round of the event. He finished four strokes clear of second-place finisher Ludvig Aberg to claim his second Green Jacket in three years.

I'll be nervous in 20 years on the first tee of this event. At the same time he's going to have so much support to get out there."

The 2024 RBC Heritage is being held at the Harbour Town Golf Links, South Carolina. Matt Fitzpatrick is the defending champion for the event, which will boast a prize purse of $20 million this year. Scheffler and Xander Schauffele are the favorites to win the tournament this year.
