LIV Golf: How did Brooks Koepka, Jon Rahm, Dustin Johnson & other LIV Golfers perform in the US Open 2025, Round 2?

The second round of the US Open 2025 resulted in eight of the 14 LIV Golf professionals missing the cut. While Brooks Koepka, Tyrrell Hatton, and Carlos Ortiz were near the top of the leaderboard at Oakmont Country Club, notables like Phil Mickelson, Joaquin Niemann, and Dustin Johnson faced early exits.

On Friday, June 13, Brooks Koepka didn't have as good a day as in the opening round. He shot 74 in the second round to aggregate at 2-over and tie for eighth. Following the second day’s action, he was five strokes behind the lead.

The two-time US Open champ started with a bogey, but by the end of the front nine, he was at even par with the help of three birdies and three bogeys. However, he made a whopping five bogeys against one birdie on the back nine to finish 4-over par.

Tyrrell Hatton was the best performer from the Saudi-backed circuit on Friday as he jumped 37 spots to T12 after firing an even-par 70. He was joined by Carlos Ortiz, who moved up eight spots after shooting 72.

Jon Rahm slipped to T23 after going 5-over 75 in the second round of the US Open. The Spaniard was also tied for 12th before he bogeyed the 18th hole.

Marc Leishman shot 75 on Day 1 and slipped to T45. Patrick Reed was the final LIV Golf star who made the cut at Oakmont. The former Masters champ shot 74 to aggregate at 7-over after the second round. He was at even par for the day after 11 holes and was heading for a decent day. However, a double bogey on the next hole and two bogeys cost him several positions.
