John Daly is currently competing in the 2025 American Family Insurance Championship at TPC Wisconsin in Madison from June 6 to 8. This year's event will follow a new structure, with 38 teams of two golfers competing in three rounds. Daly recently gave an interview in which he discussed his tournament partner, Michael Allen.

The official Instagram feed of the PGA Tour Champions recently shared on-course interviews. Reporter Bobbi Stricker spoke with a number of participants on the course, including John Daly. Stricker had an excellent conversation with Daly about his companion, Michael Allen. She tested Daly's knowledge about his partner, and the two-time major winner was 'super close' to each response.

Bobbi Stricker's first question to John Daly was regarding when Allen became a professional. The golfer picked 1988 as his final answer and came quite close, as Sticker said it was 1989.

In the second question, Stricker asked the Michael Allen's PGA Senior Tour wins in total. John Daly guessed six, and he was extremely close because Allen has eight PGA Senior Tour victories so far.

In the third question, Stricker brought up Allen's favorite on-course snack. Interestingly, the reporter had another answer, but John Daly's reply appeared more appropriate to her. Daly remarked that Allen's favourite food must be alcohol, which triggered a big smile on Stricker's face.
