The excitement for the 2025 Ryder Cup has started to build. Keegan Bradley and Luke Donald appeared for a captains' press conference on October 8 in New York. Bradley is leading Team USA, while Donald will lead the European Team.

The Bethpage Black Course, Farmingdale, New York, hosts this event, and thousands of people are expected to attend the event in person. Despite the 2025 Ryder Cup starting on September 23rd, 2025, the excitement for the biennial battle between Tea USA and Team Europe has already begun.

The atmosphere will be tense as Team USA will be looking to snatch the Ryder Cup trophy after losing last year's biennial event. So, the crowd will be in support of the home team.

During the recent captains' press conference, Keegan Bradley said he has faith in the New York crowd and wants them not to "cross the line." He said,

"You know, I have total faith in the fans of New York to cheer on their team proudly and loudly. I don't want them to cross the line to do anything that would affect the course of play. But it's going to be a tough atmosphere. It's going to be tough for both teams. You know, I think Luke would say, you've sort of got to be ready for it."

The 38-year-old golfer also said that even though he loves the New York crowd, the PGA of America is prepared to deal with hostile crowds who cross the line at Bethpage.

"When we come play Bethpage in a major championship, you're ready for this is going to be an atmosphere that we are not normally used to. But I love the New York fans. I'm excited that they are on our side, and I have total faith in them. The PGA of America already has precautions in place if people cross the line."

Keegan Bradley is the second-youngest Ryder Cup captain

Keegan Bradley was appointed as the playing skipper of Team USA for the 2025 Ryder Cup in July 2024. This selection came as a surprise as Tiger Woods was expected by many to take up the role. Woods led Team USA at the 2019 Presidents Cup and was an assistant at the 2016 Ryder Cup and 2017 Presidents Cup, while Bradley is leading a team for the first time.

The currently 38-year-old golfer will become the second-youngest golfer to lead a team in the Ryder Cup, while the legendary Arnold Palmer remains the youngest captain. He led Team USA at the age of 34 in 1963.

Team USA lost the 2023 Ryder Cup as Europe won the event with a score of 16½ to 11½.
