Korda last competed at the 2024 Kroger Queen City Championship, tying for fifth place in mid-September. She has been on a break since, but fans are anxiously awaiting her return to the greens.
Last month, Korda was scheduled to compete at the LPGA Tour event in Asia, but a minor neck injury forced her to opt out at the last moment. Announcing her withdrawal from the tournaments, she wrote:
"Hey everyone, I wanted to share an update regarding my upcoming schedule. Unfortunately, I've had to withdraw from the LPGA events in Korea and Malaysia due to a minor neck injury I sustained while practicing. I’m disappointed to miss these events and am especially sorry to my fans who were looking forward to seeing me play. I’m currently resting and working with my team to get better. Thank you for all your support—it truly means the world to me!"

Korda became the first athlete to be featured in the popular Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition in 2025. The American golfer recently shared a glimpse of her modeling outing on her Instagram account.
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit shared a joint post with Nelly Korda, giving fans an early glimpse of the photoshoot. They posted a picture of the LPGA Tour player in an all-white bikini, with the caption saying:
"She is beauty, she is grace, she is Nelly Korda. ✨ The 26-year-old is currently the No. 1-ranked female golfer in the world and the first name we’ve added to our 2025 SI Swimsuit roster!🏌️♀️"
It is important to note that Nelly Korda was awarded the LPGA Tour Player of the Year award in 2024 for her incredible performance this season. She played in 14 tournaments, making the cut in 11 of them.
