It's the season for apparel switches, and if reports are to be believed, Michael Block is the latest addition to the list. Block has reportedly signed a deal with Good Good Golf, an emerging performance-wear brand for golf.

On Friday, January 12, NUCLR Golf, a popular golf news tracking account on X, reported that Block had entered into an apparel partnership with Good Good Golf. However, it began the post with a 'rumor' hashtag, indicating that confirmation was still awaiting.

NUCLR Golf wrote:

"#RUMOR — The Block Party Continues — We hear that Michael Block has signed an apparel deal with @goodgood_golf - this is in addition to his previously signed content deal."

NUCLR Golf also shared the 47-year-old golfer's picture alongside golf media personality Tisha Alyn, where he could be seen sporting the brand's hoodie.

The apparel brand was founded in 2016 and has Garrett Clark, Matt Scharff, Micah Tig Morris, and Stephen Castaneda listed as its co-founders. They also run a YouTube channel, which boasts more than 1.41 million subscribers. Clark, Scharff, Morris, and Castaneda were later joined by Tom 'Bubbie' Broders and Luke Kwon as the other two members.

Over the last few days, the golf fraternity has witnessed several shufflings in apparel partnerships. Earlier this week, Tiger Woods split with Nike, ending their 27-year-long relationship. He has not announced where he will go next, as he is still weighing his other options.

Jason Day was another big name to leave Nike, as he signed a deal with Malbon, founded by Stephen Malbon and his wife Erica. The multi-year deal also includes the investment made by the Australian golfer in the brand. Popular LPGA star Charlie Hull was another big name to join the brand.

A couple of days ago, Nike also released custom-made footwear for Smash GC, Brooks Koepka's LIV Golf team. While Koepka has been associated with Nike since 2016, this is the first time the leading apparel giant will sponsor the whole LIV Golf squad.

Where will Michael Block next compete? The golfer's schedule explored

Michael Block will begin his 2024 PGA Tour season next week with American Express. The Desert Classic will take place from Thursday, January 18, to Sunday, January 21, at La Quinta Golf Club in California.

The club professional from California earned the second straight berth for the American Express after winning the PGA of Southern California’s section championship, which took place last September at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks.

Block burst into fame last season when he finished T15 at the PGA Championship, registering the best performance by a club pro since 1986. He was grouped with Rory McIlroy for the final round and also registered an ace on the 15th hole on Sunday.

Michael Block bagged $288,000 for his best-ever performance in the majors. However, this was the only cut he could make the whole season, as he missed cuts at five other events.

He was last seen playing at the ISPS Handa Australian Open last month, where he finished T27 after aggregating at 5-under.
