Nelly Korda had a disappointing finish at the women's golf event at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She was the favorite and the defending champion coming into the prestigious event at the Le Golf National. Unfortunately, the 26-year-old golfer couldn't replicate her performance and finished T22 for the event.

After the event, she did not travel back to the United States and is currently in Prague, visiting her family. She is also working hard on her game as the NellyLegion X account shared a video of Korda practicing on the range in Prague and preparing for the AIG Women's Open next week.

The AIG Women's Open is the final Major championship of the season, and Korda will try to gain her confidence back and register her second Major championship win in 2024.

The Home of Golf, St Andrews, is hosting this Major championship, making it special and an extra motivating factor for all women golfers to register a victory next week at the AIG Women's Open.

Hence, even though Nelly Korda is visiting her family and taking a week off before flying to St. Andrews, she is trying hard to get her game in sync.

Nelly Korda believes she is compiling all the mistakes

Nelly Korda showcased unreal dominance on the LPGA Tour at the start of the season. She registered six wins in the first eight starts on the tour and had five consecutive victories at one stage.

Despite that, her recent form is worrying for fans as she has been struggling to bring her best game to the events. She has missed three consecutive cuts and has a T26 finish in her last four starts on the LPGA Tour, with a T22 finish at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

"I think, recently, what's been happening to me is I make a mistake, and then I make another mistake on top of it. Needing to control that bit of it where I don't compile all the mistakes, which that's what I've been kind of doing recently," Korda said (via Asapsports).

The 26-year-old golfer started off her campaign at the Olympics on a disappointing note. But through the four rounds, she showed glimpses of her brilliance and was in contention for a medal finish going into the final round.

Despite struggling at Le Golf National, the 14-time LPGA Tour winner said she enjoyed the experience and is a proud two-time Olympian.

"It's been great. I mean, the crowds have been amazing, and at the end of the day, I played some really solid golf for three years from Tokyo to get me back on to this team and to represent the United States and to be at the Olympics again. I'm a two-time Olympian, and I have a Gold Medal, and I'm proud of that," Korda added.
