“Rules are rules” – Max Homa ‘roasts’ golf analyst’s swing on demand

Max Homa has shared his take on golf analyst Kyle Porter’s swing after Porter invited people online to "roast" it. Homa is one of the most popular golfers on social media. Besides having a great game, he is also known for his sense of humor, which he often displays online.

On Thursday, November 7, Porter shared a photo of himself playing golf at Fazio in PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In a follow-up tweet, he asked his followers:

"Roast my swing."

In response, Homa took a jab at Porter’s swing.

"If ur gunna cocky step to the tee pickup u can’t keep watching it until it stops rolling. Rules are rules," Max Homa wrote.

Max Homa is not competing in the 2024 World Wide Technology Championship, which began on Thursday, November 7, at El Cardonal at Diamante in Mexico.

Max Homa last played at the Zozo Championship, where he tied for 27th. This was his best finish on the PGA Tour since his T22 finish at the Memorial Tournament in June. His season was slightly underwhelming, as he went winless and made just three top-ten finishes. Last year, he won the Farmers Insurance Open and the DP World Tour's Nedbank Golf Challenge.
