Scottie Scheffler hasn’t had the best of starts at the 2025 U.S. Open. After two underwhelming rounds at Oakmont Country Club, the World No. 1 was seen visibly frustrated during Friday's second round (June 13).

Scheffler shot a 1-over 71 in Round 2, bringing his total to 4-over-par for the tournament. His opening round wasn’t much better either, as he carded a 3-over 73, which included six bogeys and three birdies.

NUCLR Golf shared a clip from his Friday round on X where Scheffler seemed visibly frustrated while discussing something while on the range after his round. Though the audio wasn’t clear, fans quickly reacted to his body language.

Woods played at the Oakmont Country Club during the 2007 U.S. Open, where he finished T2 after shooting 286 (+6) over, placing just one shot behind winner Ángel Cabrera.

Another fan chimed in, criticizing Scheffler:

"Classic front runner gimmick thinking he can dominate every tournament. Crash out on the range to make sure he still gets camera time. Pretty disgusting display for someone who’s the face of the tour."

One user pointed out the challenging course, writing:

"Oakmont man"

Another user acknowledged the human side of golfers, writing:

"Good! Hard championship golf should be frustrating. He’s a human not a robot."
"Maybe he needs Brooks Koepka's coach to give him some pointers," one added.
