The Netflix golf docuseries Full Swing brought a lot of popularity to Joel Dahmen's caddie Geno Bonnalie as he impressed people in the series.

Geno recently reshared a PGA Tour video on this Twitter account with a caption saying:

"This was fun."

PGA Tour Live posted a clip of Geno Bonnalie talking with the announcer at the Valspar Championship. The clip started with Bonnalie talking about the popularity he received after the show. He said:

"Me signing autographs is a very new thing. Something I'm still not very used to. We were off at 8:55 this morning and not really in contention of the golf tournament and we have a gallery following us out there. So his popularity, and maybe also mine, has definitely gone up, and it's been fun."

Bonnalie continued to talk about the Valspar Championship and Joel Dahmen's performance on the first hole. He said:

"Well, it was kind of an awkward lie. He was standing in the bunker, but the ball itself was sitting fine. We went with a hybrid because there's no heel grab on there. And we thought we could just kind of push it down the fairway into wedges territory. And I think he kind of topped it, and it went about 10 yards in front of us into the bunker."
"And he kept the hybrid, and then proceeded to hit that one line drive into the lip of the bunker, and it popped out and almost went into the bunker again. We still had 200 and some yards for our fourth, and it wasn't the birthday present. I was hoping for to start the day, but we still had fun. That's just part of the game."

Joel Dahmen finished at T61 in the Valspar Championship.

"Still holding out that might show up" - Joel Dahmen's caddie Geno Bonnalie talks about the Masters invitation

In the video, the announcer asked Geno about Joel Dahmen. In response, Bonnalie said:

"Joel's got a new baby at home so I think he's probably going to go relieve his wife of her baby duties for the afternoon. In fact, I just gave him the keys to my car, so hopefully, he come back and gets me here in a little bit."

Geno went on to talk about last year's Valspar Championship and shared an experience with the announcer. He said:

"Actually, last year at this event, I had something pound on my door at 2 am and he wanted to see Pete, and I didn't know who Pete was. And I got the heck out of there. This year's accommodations are much better than that, but thankfully I've had no guns drawn on me so far as a caddie."

He also revealed that he is waiting for the Masters invite and believes that they will receive it by next week. Geno continued:

"We are going to take Valero...off and we haven't received an invitation to the Masters yet. Still holding out that might show up this next week."
