With darkness descending on the Augusta National Golf Course, Adam Scott rolled into the second playoff hole to give Australian golf fans an American moment to cherish as he won the 2013 Masters.
He ended the most stressful day of his career wearing the dream green jacket. Scott defeated Angel Cabera in a sudden-death playoff to clinch the trophy.

Scott entered the Augusta Golf Course alongside his friends Jason Day, Marc Leishman, Tiger Woods, and Brandt Snedeker on the final day to compete to win the title.
Adam Scott managed to get off to a good start. On the penultimate hole, he tied it up with Cabrera at a scoring under 8 and eventually they both made a birdie on the last hole to finish at a score deficit of 9.
Recently, Adam Scott, Steven Williams (Scott's caddy), Leishman, Cameron Smith, Charlie Epps (Cabrera's coach), and commentator Ian Baker-Finch talked about the phenomenal finale of the 2013 Masters as quoted by the Sydney Morning Herald. Leishman said:
"We were talking about something completely unrelated to golf, and I made a point of doing that with Scotty. We had our umbrellas up walking down the fairway and I remember we looked over to the rope line on the right and there was a bloke just taking a leak."
"That lightened the mood a little bit. I guess he didn’t want to line up to take a slash. We had a laugh at that.”
Adam Scott agreed with his statement and said:
“It is true. There was a guy having a leak on the rope line into the fairway. No-one really noticed, but it did happen. There was also another guy yelling ‘Queenslander’ on the same hole and I reckon he’s there every year, that bloke."
He continued:
"Someone has been yelling ‘Queenslander’ ever since I’ve been going to Augusta. It’s hard to all of a sudden forget the situation of the tournament, but what was great was Leish and I were talking and not thinking about, ‘this is a shot that could win The Masters’.”

Adam Scott started the 2013 Masters with a birdie on the first hole. He made four birdies and one bogey within the first 18 holes.
However, on the second day, the game seemingly slipped from his hand when he went on to make three consecutive bogeys, but luckily also sank three birdies to finish at a score of 72.
Scott sank four birdies and one bogey on the third day, while four more birdies on the final day to wrap it up at a score of 69. He finished with a total of 279, which was tied with Angel Cabrera.
In a sudden-death playoff, Cabrera carded a par-4 on the 18th hole which was fortunately matched up by Adam Scott. Apparently, the game changed on the 10th hole when Cabrera hit the par-4 but Scott snatched the trophy after making a par-3.
