TGL: Tiger Woods & Rory McIlroy's TGL reportedly faces ticketing issue as fan loses front row tickets due to Ticketmaster error

The much-awaited TGL will be starting on January 7th at the SoFi arena in Palm Beach Gardens. However, a fan hoping to catch Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's brainchild in person recently faced some ticketing issues after buying tickets through Ticketmaster.

The fan shared on X an email he reportedly received from Ticketmaster Fan Support that his front-row seats for a TGL event had been swapped for different seats because the former "weren't supposed to be available". The changed seats appear to have been in the back rows and the fan allegedly wasn't refunded the amount he had paid for the pricier front row seats.

TGL is an infusion of technology and live-action golf. It will be played inside a customized indoor arena. While the heavily promoted league promised fans a surreal golf viewing experience, the seat mix-up has seemingly left a sour taste for the fan who had been waiting to see their favorite stars play up close.

What is the schedule for TGL's debut season?

The much-anticipated TGL will begin next week with top stars teeing off in a high-tech indoor arena. The league will be a mix of simulation and live-action golf with players hitting a massive simulator screen until they reach within 50 yards of the hole. That is when they will play actual holes.

The league features six teams with several notable names such as Billy Horschel, Tom Kim, Collin Morikawa, and Justin Rose along with hosts Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy among others taking part.
