Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TGL secures broadcast deal for European region 

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TGL have secured a broadcast deal for the European region. The TGL presented by SoFi will begin on January 7th in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Sky has signed a two-year deal with TGL to secure the broadcasting rights for the European region.

Sky Sports Golf announced this news on X (formerly Twitter):

"Sky has announced a two-year partnership with TGL, presented by SoFi, the new team golf league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. The deal includes both the 2025 and 2026 seasons and will give customers exclusive coverage of every match."

Woods and McIlroy are the founders of TGL. TGL is a new golf league that will have advanced technology and top PGA Tour golfers who will compete in two-hour weekly competitions at prime time at the SoFi Center. The venue was built specifically for TGL on the campus of Palm Beach State College and the competition is set to start in January 2025.

Six teams from six different cities will compete in TGL. Rory McIlroy is a part of Boston Common Golf and Tiger Woods will represent Jupiter Links Golf Club. The tournament will be televised live on ESPN and ESPN+ in the United States and Sky Sports in Europe.

Schedule for the 2025 TGL

The 2025 TGL presented by SoFi will feature 15 matches starting on January 7. The group stage will conclude on March 4, the semifinals will be played on March 17 and 18, and the finals on March 24 and 25.
