Justin Suh surprised people after leading the 2023 Honda Classic, which is underway at the PGA National Members Club from February 23 to February 26. Suh finished the second round with a scoring deficit of six.

With a total of under 10, the American golfer has reason to be excited. He is one shot ahead of veteran Chris Kirk, who closed the second round at under 8 to finish with a scoring deficit of nine.

Justin Suh made 158 feet' worth of putts on Friday with four consecutive birdies midway through the second round. Speaking about his performance, the 25-year-old said:

"The putter got hot. It was fun to see the putts go in, even though I wasn't trying to make them at 9 and 10. Was just trying to get them close."

He further elaborated:

“I never really let it get to me. Obviously, they had immediate success, and it was cool watching them play so great. But for me, I knew I needed to improve. I just kept my head down and worked on my game."

Justin Suh, who earned a full status for the 2022-23 season on the PGA Tour, has topped the World Amateur Rankings and is now making his way to shine on the PGA Tour.

"No, I wanted to birdie the last three to shoot 59. It was a bummer not to make it. I felt like I deserved the birdie at 18 after hitting such a great wedge, but I misread the putt. I definitely won’t let that put a damper on a really good day.”
