Just over a month ago, the Frenchman won the first tournament of his 20-year career on the DP World Tour (2024 Andalucia Masters). After his performance, Guerrier highlighted the difficult weather conditions that prevailed during the round. Here is part of what he had to say (via DP World Tour News Service):"It’s a privilege to score under par in tough conditions like that. I am very pleased I made a lot of birdies. It was difficult to stay patient, you know you are going to make some mistakes, everybody does."The difficult conditions saw only 14 players break par. Defending champion and yesterday's leader Max Homa was not in that group as he finished the second round of the Nedbank Golf Challenge at 3 over (3 under for the first 36 holes).Homa was 1 under through 15th with three birdies and two bogeys. But back-to-back double bogeys on the 16th and 17th dashed his hopes of remaining in the lead.Another PGA Tour player, Will Zalatoris, moved up 16 spots on the leaderboard with five birdies, three bogeys, and a double bogey (even par for the round).
