Hideki Matsuyama entered the final round of the FedEx St. Jude Championship with a five-shot lead. However, he went 4-over from the 12th to the 15th and watched as Xander Schauffele and Viktor Hovland tied for the lead.

Nevertheless, Matsuyama rallied back in style and birdied the final two holes to make up the lost ground and win the FedEx St. Jude Championship. It is his second PGA Tour victory of the year, as he also won the Genesis Invitational in February.

Scottie Scheffler tied for fourth on his own, while Sam Burns and Nick Dunlap rounded out the top 5.
