Who won the 2025 RBC Canadian Open? Final leaderboard explored

The 2025 RBC Canadian Open concluded in great fashion. A sudden-death playoff was conducted between Ryan Fox and Sam Burns at the TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley North Course.

The two world-class golfers battled it out over four playoff holes. They continued to play TPC Toronto's par-5 18th hole over and over again until Ryan Fox registered a birdie on the fourth playoff hole to take home the 2025 RBC Canadian Open title.

Sam Burns stunned the golf community with his performance during the final round of the 2025 RBC Canadian Open. He posted an astounding 8 under par 62 score on Sunday to vault 14 spots up the leaderboard and settle for second place after losing the playoff.

Kevin Yu finished one stroke behind Fox and Burns at the 2025 RBC Canadian Open. He claimed the solo third place with a total 17 under par score.

The 2025 RBC Canadian Open saw several top players tie for 13th place, including Shane Lowry and Ludvig Aberg. They all registered a 72-hole score of 13 under par each.

About the author

Lathika is one of the newer additions to Sportskeeda’s budding golf journalism team and has brought plenty of in-game experience to the role. Having been a golfer for over 12 years now, some of her crowning achievements include winning titles on the Indian Golf Union Ladies tour and Junior Girls Amateur tour.

Her favorite golfers are Nelly Korda and Tiger Woods, both for their playing style as well as their mental strength. Much of her time away from work is spent playing golf, but she also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and learning new hobbies or upskilling.
