Xander Schauffele reveals he is "close to 100%" ahead of The Players Championship 2025

Xander Schauffele's path to The Players Championship 2025 has not been easy. Schauffele, 31, was away from golf for eight weeks before he finally made his return at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week. This was his first tournament since The Sentry in January.

After four rounds at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Schauffele finished at T40. Now, after this performance at the Bay Hill, Schauffele claims he is close to 100% ahead of this week's Players Championship. During an appearance on SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio, the 2024 Open Championship winner said:

"I feel healthy. There is still some soreness which the doctor says is pretty normal. I am healthy though. I am not gonna reinjure myself or hurt myself. Everything is moving way better. Probably close to a 100 percent. All in all, I got all hands on deck before and after rounds to make sure I am good to go. I am not thinking about it at night anymore. I am not thinking about it in the morning anymore. I am close to 100%."
