Where did Rory McIlroy finish after Round 2 of 2024 Paris Olympics?

Rory McIlroy is making his second appearance at the Olympic Games this week. Following a tied for fourth-place finish at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the Irishman is eager to finish on the podium this week at the Le Golf National course, which is located on the outskirts of Paris.

After carding in an opening round score of three under par 68, McIlroy stood tied for 15th place with seven other players. The second round of the 2024 Paris Olympics saw the PGA Tour star shoot a two under par 69 round to move a few spots up the leaderboard.

He is now tied for 13th place with a total score of five under par through 36 holes of the prestigious tournament. The four-time Major championship winner holds the place with five other players.

McIlroy still stands within contention. He remains six strokes behind leaders Xander Schauffele, Hideki Matsuyama and Tommy Fleetwood, who are 11 under par through 36 holes. Tee times for the third round of the 2024 Paris Olympics will be announced following the completion of the second round.
