Marvel fans, get ready for some exciting news! Hugh Jackman is preparing to reprise his iconic role as Wolverine for the upcoming movie "Deadpool 3." And to get in the right shape, the actor is consuming a whopping 8,000+ calories a day.

The Australian actor, who bade farewell to his popular character in 2017's "Logan," will join forces with Ryan Reynolds for the highly anticipated film that will mark the mutant's debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While the timeline integration is still a mystery, Jackman is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that he looks the part of the gruff and muscular Wolverine.

Hugh Jackman's Intense Diet and Workout Regimen

The 52-year-old actor has been bulking up for the past six months to fit into the role of the adamantium-clawed mutant. And on Monday, he took to Twitter to share a glimpse of his bulking phase meals, revealing that he's consuming over 8,300 calories a day.

The impressive meal plan that Jackman shared included two grass-fed sirloin steaks with noodles, two chicken burgers with sweet potatoes, black bass with rice, and Patagonian Chinook salmon with potatoes, all adding up to a total of 8,300 calories. It's a far cry from his 4,000 calorie-a-day diet that he followed for his earlier Wolverine films.

But it's not just the food that's helping Jackman transform into Wolverine; he's also been working tirelessly with coach Beth Lewis, sharing videos of his intense workout regimen on social media. The result is evident in the pictures he posted of himself doing a bicep curl, flaunting his bulging arm muscles.

No Steroids for Hugh Jackman

While the process of gaining muscle mass can take a toll on the body, Jackman has made it clear that he won't resort to steroids.

In an interview with HBO's "Who's Talking to Chris Wallace" in January, the actor stated that he had never used steroids to pack on muscle mass, even though it often left him feeling exhausted.

"I never took steroids," he told Wallace. "I'm all natural. No, I don't recommend anyone take steroids. You don't need them. You just need to work hard."

With Hugh Jackman's intense diet and workout regimen, we can be assured that he will make a comeback as an even more ripped and powerful Wolverine in "Deadpool 3."

Fans can't wait to see the beloved character make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, and we're sure Jackman's efforts will make the experience all the more worthwhile.
