What's the story?

The AFC Cup group stages clash involving Aizawl FC and Bengaluru FC, which was scheduled to take place on the 7th of March, 2018 has been re-scheduled to the 5th of April 2018 owing to the tight schedule of the AFC Cup along with the Indian Super League encounters.

Taking to their Twitter account, Aizawl FC confirmed the change in dates which will means that Bengaluru FC will now have some breathing space ahead of the vital knockout clashes in the ISL.

Bengaluru FC are on a roll in the ongoing season of the Indian Super League, winning 13 of the 18 matches in the league stage. The string of victories meant that BFC became the first club to qualify for the playoffs which is a remarkable achievement considering that this is the club's debut season in the ISL.
