Bengaluru FC drew FC Goa in their fourth game of the ISL 2023-24 season in Bangalore on Wednesday (October 25).

FC Goa came into the game, placed second in the points table, and not having lost a game this season yet. They won their previous game 2-1 against East Bengal FC. A win/draw today would have taken FC Goa to the top of the table. It would also mean FC Goa would have made a perfect start to the season winning their first four games.

The match started with both sides trying to get a feel of their opponents. Sunil Chhetri had an early attempt at goal in the ninth minute but the shot was saved by Arshdeep.

Jay Gupta had his shot saved by Gurpreet in the 15th minute. Carl McHugh saw his header go just wide from a corner in the 25th minute. Jay Gupta had another attempt of his parried away and Rowllin Borges's shot from the rebound was saved by Gurpreet in the 36th minute.

The hosts came into the second half trying to showcase a more attacking brand of football. Rohit Dhanu saw his well-timed volley being saved. Roshan had a go at goal in the 66th minute but his effort was blocked by the Gaurs defense.

Victor Rodriguez's shot from the edge of the box in the 75th minute went just wide. Ayush Chhetri saw his attempt sailing above the crossbar in the 76th minute. Jay saw his header in added time go straight to Gurpreet.

The final scoreline of the game read 0-0. With this result, FC Goa moved to the top of the table.
