SC East Bengal

Arindam Bhattacharya - 6.5/10

SC East Bengal custodian Bhattacharya dealt well with whatever FC Goa threw at him. His save from Bedia's free-kick and the way he claimed crosses was particularly appreciable.

Ankit Mukherjee - 6.5/10

This was one of Mukherjee's better performances for the Red and Gold Brigade. He kept Jesuraj largely silent, made three tackles and came up with vital clearances in the dying minutes.

Franjo Prce - 7/10

Prce was excellent at the heart of the defense for SC East Bengal. His goal-line block in the first half was incredibly important and he was a good fit alongside Adil Khan.

Adil Khan - 7.5/10

Khan was one of the best players on the pitch against FC Goa. He wasn't afraid to move up the field to effect blocks, flew into tackles and made multiple clearances to help his side register their first win of the season.

Amarjit Singh Kiyam - 7/10

Kiyam deserves credit for keeping the dangerous Ortiz silent almost throughout the game. He was caught out of position for FC Goa's goal, but recovered well to record a match-high six tackles.

Wahengbham Angousana - 7/10

Angousana ran himself ragged in midfield, making multiple crucial interventions for SC East Bengal. He provided ample support to Sourav Das, making two tackles and winning two fouls.

Sourav Das - 7.5/10

Das was excellent once again in defensive midfield, often getting into the box to help his backline out. He completed 88 percent of his passes and was key in stopping several FC Goa attacks from achieving fruition.

Darren Sidoel - 6.5/10

Sidoel dug in to deliver an effective performance. He didn't stand out but did the dirty work by fouling and getting the ball out to touch when necessary.

Mohammad Rafique - 5.5/10

Rafique did well to press FC Goa's defense at times, but was taken off at half-time to solidify the defense.

Thongkhosiem Haokip - 6.5/10

Haokip's workrate was fantastic in this game as he hassled the Gaurs. He won three fouls and laid out a key pass before being taken off.

Naorem Mahesh Singh - 8/10

Mahesh Singh's first goals for SC East Bengal couldn't have come at a better time as they gave his team a much-needed win. His finishes while one-on-one were both excellent. He also tracked back to make two tackles and win a couple of fouls in a superb all-round display.

SC East Bengal Substitutes

Raju Gaikwad - 7/10

Gaikwad replaced Rafique at half-time and provided his side with an extra body in defense to nullify FC Goa's attacking threats.

Balwant Singh - 6/10

Balwant Singh came on for Haokip in the 69th minute. While he did win a couple of fouls in key areas, his workrate could have been better.

Jackichand Singh - 6/10

Jackichand Singh replaced Naorem Mahesh Singh in the 75th minute and did well to help his side hold on to their slender lead.
