The 17th match of ISL 2017 sees Delhi Dynamos take on Jamshedpur FC at home. Both teams will be looking for a win as Delhi Dynamos lost their last match at home against NorthEast United, while Jamshedpur FC are winless in their 3 matches so far.

Goalkeeper

Albino Gomes: Albino Gomes made a shocking mistake in Delhi Dynamos' defeat against NorthEast United in their last match. The youngster will be eager to prove his quality after his mistake, and with Delhi’s opponents yet to score and struggling going forward, Albino has a good chance to claim his first clean sheet of ISL 2017.

Defenders

Tiri: The experienced Tiri has played a key role in Jamshedpur keeping 3 clean sheets in 3 matches. The 26-year-old has been a calming presence at the back. His aerial prowess means Tiri can also score from attacking points to go with his clean sheet points.

Gabriel Cichero: Venezuelan international Gabriel Cichero has been the best in the bad bunch of Delhi Dynamos defence. The 33-year old has helped build from the back as illustrated by his 215 attempted passes, the most by a Delhi player. He has also made 8 tackles so far. His high action style means Cichero can earn you a few extra points.

Pritam Kotal: Though Kotal struggled in the last match against NorthEast United, the 24-year-old’s speed and crossing means he is always a threat for the opposition, Kotal has already provided an assist in the campaign and has built up a decent partnership with Guyon Fernandes on the right-hand side for Delhi.

Midfielders:

Sameehg Doutie: The man with the most assists in ISL by a current player has been inconsistent so far and but is still a threat with his pace and crossing ability. With Jamshedpur FC yet to score and facing a struggling Delhi Dynamos defence, Doutie is expected to make an impact.

Jeroen Lumu: Jeroen Lumu was perhaps Delhi Dynamos best player in a disappointing defeat against NorthEast United. The Dutch midfielder came close to scoring but was denied by a fine save by Rehenesh. Lumu has gradually improved with games and might be primed to make an impact against a stubborn Jamshedpur FC defense.

Paulinho Dias: The defensive midfielder didn’t have the best of matches against NorthEast United, but he has already showed his potential in Delhi Dynamos win against FC Pune City by scoring and assisting in the same match. The 29-year old has hit the target with all of his 3 shots and has attempted 10 tackles which is the highest in the Delhi Dynamos squad.

Memo: Defensive midfielder Emerson Gomes has impressed for Jamshedpur FC with his all-round play. The Brazilian has attempted 113 passes, the most by a Jamshedpur FC player, he has also contributed defensively making an impressive 14 tackles in 3 matches. He has also hit the target with 2 out of his 3 attempted shots.

Forwards:

Kalu Uche: The Nigerian worked hard and got into some decent positions against NorthEast United and was only thwarted by a superb Rehenesh save. The experienced Kalu Uche will be Delhi Dynamos' best bet of scoring against a defence which has conceded 0 goals in 3 matches so far.

Jerry Mawhmingthanga: The youngster came closest to scoring against ATK in Jamshedpur FC’s last match with both of his shots from good positions hitting the side netting. Jerry, with his turn of pace and youthful bravery, can be the man to break their goal-scoring drought.

Guyon Fernandes: The Curacaoan midfielder has impressed for Delhi Dynamos with his work rate and his contribution going forward with and without the ball. The 31-year old has attempted 5 shots so far, joint most by a Delhi player. The strongly built Guyon tried hard to make things happen against NorthEast United and possesses the quality to breach the Jamshedpur FC defence.
