FC Goa Player Ratings

Devendra Murgaonkar scored FC Goa's only goal of the game

Mohammed Nawaz - 5/10

He wasn't really forced into making too many saves, but he got away with one right at the end of the game. The referee's whistle for a foul from Surchandra gave Nawaz respite when East Bengal had the ball in the net.

Seriton Fernandes - 5/10

On occasion, Seriton was beaten a bit too easily by Narayan Das. He also didn't do much going forward.

Ivan Gonzalez - 7/10

He had an excellent battle against the strength of Amadi-Holloway, and came out of it on top.

James Donachie - 6/10

The Australian could've had a couple of goals in the first half, when he won headers easily, but couldn't convert those chances.

Saviour Gama - 6/10

First of all, it has to be mentioned that Gama was extremely lucky not to be sent off in the first half for an awful challenge. He also had plenty of shots from distance in the game, and did hit the target with a good number of those.

Edu Bedia - 6/10

He controlled the tempo of the game from midfield for Goa, but couldn't really find a killer pass for Angulo.

Princeton Rebello - 5/10

Princeton struggled in the deeper midfield role, as he was getting dribbled past a little too easily.

Brandon Fernandes - 5/10

Starting in central midfield again, Brandon's influence in the game was a bit restricted. Even his set-piece deliveries weren't at the consistent level they usually are at.

Jorge Ortiz - 6/10

Ortiz tried hard, but he was defended expertly by the East Bengal rearguard. His dribbling was still exceptional, but he was shut out in the final third.

Alexander Romario Jesuraj - 5/10

Romario didn't really have an influence on this game. His only real contribution was being the victim of the tackle that got Fox sent off.

Igor Angulo - 6/10

He was bright as ever, but just didn't get that one clearcut opening he usually seems to get in every game.

Substitutes

Devendra Murgaonkar - 7/10

It was a great day for Murgaonkar as he scored his first ever ISL goal. He took the goal well, as he anticipated an error and was there to finish off the chance.

Alberto Noguera - 6/10

He added another passing option for Goa in midfield after coming on to replace Brandon.

Aiban Dohling - 5/10

Once again, he could have been at fault for conceding a goal, when his slip enabled Surchandra to run through on goal.

Ishan Pandita - 6/10

He could've had a penalty late in the game for Rafique's tackle on the game, but the referee gave the foul the other way.
