Chennai Quick Guns lost the summit clash of the Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2 against Gujarat Giants 26-31 in Cuttack, Odisha, on Saturday 13.
The Giants were off to a flying start, having earned 14 points in their first attacking turn. Meanwhile, the Quick Guns bagged one only Batch Bonus Point in the first turn. Gujarat Giants were leading 14-1 after Turn 1.
The Giants continued their fine run in the match as the first batch of players earned five Dream Run Points to extend their lead. The Quick Guns, on the other hand, performed poorly as they tagged out only three defenders, which saw them add only six more points to their tally.
The Giants were too good and deserved the lead. The score read 19-7 and Gujarat Giants led by 12 points at the end of the first innings.
