Commentary

That brings us to the end of our coverage for the second semi final of the T20 Blast. The final will start in about an hour and twenty minutes. Do join us then and for many more sporting action. David Payne is the Player of the Match: Probably what you need in a semi-final, setting the tone well before all the boys bowled really well. Huge credit to all the bowlers. Matty and Shaw have made the step-up this year and we are now a good pack. We almost joked about how good it would be to have a West Country derby. The coach has just got us to play the cricket Glocs play. He hasn't changed the rulebook but helped us do what we can do. (On him limping) I am fine, it's just the 33-year-old in me. Now it's just rest, food and onto the final.

Gloucestershire has made their way to the final which will be played in some time from now. It turned out to be a domination to remember as Sussex could never really recover from their early wickets. The score of 106 was never going to be enough as far as Sussex was concerned.

The only way they could have made a match of it was if they took early wickets. However, that wasn't to be as Cameron Bancroft and Miles Hammond started off well. They took their time initially with Bancroft looking like the aggressor.

It was Bradley Currie who accounted for Hammered with the score at 17. Out came James Bracey in the middle and there was an immediate momentum shift. Both Bancroft and Bracey started taking their chances a bit more. The boundaries started to flow and Sussex had no chance from there on to make a comeback.

Bancroft smashed five fours during his knock of 39. He was eventually dismissed by James Coles in the 11th over but by then the result was a foregone conclusion. As the target drew near, Bracey started taking his chances. His unbeaten knock of 49 came in just 28 deliveries which included 3 fours and as many sixes.

James Bracey has finished it off in style. Comes dancing down the track in style and smashes it through the line. Sends it well over the long off fence to register an emphatic 8 wicket victory. They didn't have to break their sweat while trying to chase this target down.

13.4 Jack Joshua Carson to James Bracey, SIX TO WIN IT! Big derby set-up for the final! And Bracey does get his big hit to finish it and boy he deserves it. Shimmies down the ground, finds it fuller than last one and slaps it up and over long off! Gloucs win by eight wickets!
