Comfortable win for the Mechelen Eagles, impressive bowling by Shakerullah and Naseer in the first innings. A lot to improve in the batting performance of the stars, they lost wickets regularly and never seemed to be getting towards a respectable total.

Ikramullah Naseer played brilliantly for his 35 off 15 in the second innings, and the dropped catch of Tejinder Singh cost the match to the Stars, he went on to score 28 in that over, before getting out on the last delivery. The captain made sure the team crossed the line with a nice little cameo of 20 runs off 6 deliveries.
