Koln Challengers beat Aachen Rising Stars by 10 runs!
If there was ever a case of a run-out at the non-striker's end before the bowler completed his run-up across the world, I am yet to see it. Adeeb Asgher was going at a fine pace of his own until Nikhil Patel saw him backing up too far and then chose to whip the bails off in his run up.
The resultant melee of this was that the Aachen Rising Stars' batting imploded, handing the game on a plate to Koln Challengers. This game was Aachen's to lose after they got off to a brilliant start thanks to Asgher and wicketkeeper-batter Prateek Harsh. However, few of the other batters in the side put their hand up to be counted.
Asgher departed and witnessed the rest of the batters of his team self-destructing themselves without a care in the world. Nikhil Patel ended up with six wickets to his name, but he was gifted a lot of them. This win will give Koln a lot of confidence to carry forward in this competition.
8.2 Nagendra Donthi to Bilal Yusufzai, OUT! CAUGHT! IT IS ALL OVER! KOLN CHALLENGERS WIN! Full and outside off, Bilal looks to go big but gets a leading edge high in the air. The point fielder settles under it and takes a terrific catch to dismiss the final batter! Koln Challengers have made a terrific comeback in this contest and have snared a win out of nowhere!
