Well well well! What a terrific contest this has been! ACB Kerala had a horror of a start and were reeling at 16/6 with the game going nowhere for them. They kept losing wickets right from the start and this game seemed as good as over at that stage with Viktoria all over them. It was that partnership between Nithin Das and Manu Thomas that kept them in hunt although no one gave them a chance in this contest.
They kept going and took it down to the very final delivery where they had almost pulled the chase off. Such a shame after a spirited effort and they eventually ended up on the losing side in the Golden Ball. Viktoria were splendid at the top and ran through the Kerala batting order to put them under sever pressure. They will still be thinking as to how they let Kerala get this close but nonetheless, they have held their nerves and somehow managed to win the game in the end.
This has been one of the most entertaining games that you will ever see and what drama we have had here. These two sides go up once again in short time from now and with this game, we can certainly expect another thrilling contest coming up for sure! This has been Bidipto and myself (Rishab) as we give you some time to catch your breath then! Do get back as we have more action coming your way and you do not want to miss out!
Vikoria have done it then and they win the GOLDEN BALL and this contest. They have survived a real scare but what a fight it has been from Kerala after being down and out. What a magnificent contest this has turned out to be!
