The fell short by 2 runs as the new target was 118. An absolute thriller in the end with the Strikers getting all out on the last ball. Brown almost hit her first six and won it for the Strikers. Woolvardt stayed till the second last over and played a brilliant 45 run innings but she could not stay on till the end and help them cross the line. Schutt with a small cameo in the end, she scored 2 boundaries but she could not help them cross the line as well.

The Heats bowled really well and got regular wickets, Amelia with 3 wickets in the end, Hancock with 2 and the rest of the bowlers with one each. The only reason we got a thriller was poor fielding and keeping. The fielder gave away 4-5 boundaries with unnecessary dives and misfields and the keeper gave away 5 runs in byes.
